Nineteen years inside the systems that run farms, member networks and coffee counters taught us that people route around anything that's hard to use. We design the SAP, Salesforce and Power Pages experiences they'd pick anyway.

    Seven days became a few hours.

    A merger left Nutrien's field reps juggling several ERPs. We designed one mobile and web sales app on top of them, and order processing dropped from a week to hours.

    TEC Canada was moving its members from analog processes to an app that was hard to find your way around. We rebuilt the navigation and gave members widgets they can arrange around what matters to them.

    When COVID closed the counter, Analog needed a way to keep pouring. We designed a contact-free order and pickup app, wired into their POS and unmistakably theirs.

What does Mokup Labs do?

Mokup Labs is a boutique product design studio based in Toronto and Calgary. We design enterprise applications, customer and member portals, mobile apps and design systems, and we provide UX research, usability testing and embedded design staff.

Do you design for SAP, Salesforce and Power Pages?

Yes. Much of our work lives on enterprise platforms: SAP Fiori and UI5, Salesforce Lightning and Experience Cloud, and Microsoft Power Pages, Power Apps and Dynamics 365. We design within each platform's constraints, so what we hand over can actually be built and maintained.

How is enterprise UX different from consumer apps?

Enterprise users rarely choose their software. Their tasks are long and repetitive, the data is dense, and the tool usually sits on top of several other systems. We measure success in time on task, error rates and adoption, not downloads.

How does a project start?

With a conversation about the problem, then a short discovery phase. We talk to the people who use the tool, map the workflow and come back with a prototype and a plan you can make a decision on.

Can you work alongside our in-house team?

Yes. Besides full projects, we place product designers, researchers, QA specialists and developers inside client teams, remotely or on site.

Where are you based?

We have studios in Toronto, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta, and work with teams across Canada and remotely.
